    Hi,

My Whirlpool oven (model AKZ151/IX) is displaying F03 error code on the display. No functions can be used.

I have spoken to Whirlpool service centre and they advised that F03 code is the unit control panel, part number – 481221458469.

Fortunately, I know someone else with the same oven so was able to swapout that part to confirm the fault before ordering a replacement. The bad news is, the part functioned correctly in the other oven. So now I’m at a loss.

Looking through similar posts it seems it could be a faulty sensor. I’m not sure how to check this. Any tips?

    Thanks.

Technically, it’s a configuration error. If the board worked on somebody elses machine, it’s a fluke as they are configured on a model specific basis..

Worth checking the temperature probe for function. It’s a thermistor device, so the resistance will change with temperature. You will need a multimeter capable of working in kOhms.

    Power off first,

Thanks Penguin45, this is the only site I could find with a picture of the part number quoted above
    http://www.espares.co.uk/part/cookers-a … 3/pcb.html

It’s was this that I swapped out (putting my part into another oven). I don’t suppose you can confirm that’s the right bit to be looking at?

Will check out my multimeter and see if I can test the temperature probe.
