Whirlpool AKZM 656 oven Appears dead

Hi Looking for advice.
We left the oven on cooking on a countdown timer. When we returned the food was burned and the oven was dead – its a touch LCD control and there are no lights at all working.
Tried turning off the feed( and its a 6mm supply as its a selfbuild house) to no avail.

We have two of these fitted side by side so would ideally like to get it back working.

there will probably be an overheat stat if the unit has burn food.

difficult to look up as there are 50 ovens with similar number will need 12 nc number to narrow it down

I dont know what you mean by 12 NC number

I took the top and back off and got AZ2130-00244-2 from the circuit board.
The serial numbers inside the door are 852565638003 on both my ovens.
I took an image of the back if it helps

spot on 85 number is the 12 nc number

unit is model AKZM 656/IX 12 nc 8525 656 38003

first thing to try. there is a thermal limiter stat. follow the live cable into the top of the oven and it should go straight to it. if this is open circuit oven wont go

Hi did a quick search on the limiter stats for images to help me identify it – am I correct it should have live wire in and out and can I just short it out to see if power returns to the oven to establish it is faulty?
Will probably be tomorrow before I can check – wife is cooking for friends tonight and I am banned from the kitchen .

you can do one of 2 things

1 test with multimeter on continuity
2 bridge wires together and see if you get life

I found the heat stat and it had a red button on it which I pressed and re-set it.
Problem I now have is the grill comes on once the oven has power which, I am guessing, is what had happened to cause the heat stat to trip out.
Only way now to turn off the grill is to isolate the mains supply
Any further help would be appreciated.

since everthing is controlled by the board there is only 2 possibilities

1 the relay on the board that controls the grill element has stuck and needs replacing

2 the board needs replacing
