    Hi 🙂
I’ve been to one of these machines model 3XLER5435HQO
when you press the start button it just buzzers and if you turn the drum and press it then it seems to work for a while but stops again as if a capacitor had gone but there is not one on it ,I think its the start device that is screwed to the motor ❓ has anyone come across this fault before and is it a seperate item
    thanks mark

More often than not it’s the motor start winding causing this Mark.

The switch unit on the motor is part number 481927138133 at £56.83 ex VAT list and the motor 481936158124 at £84.53 ex VAT list 🙂

    Thanks Dave
electrue £62 + vat for the Switch and £65 for the motor and it comes with the switch on it 🙄 I think I’ll quote for the motor 🙂

Dont forget to take a decent set of allen keys to get the pulley wheel off the motor

Doddle to dismantle, undo the two screws in the filter compartment. Pop the top up like a car bonnet (two plastic clips on the front each side looking throught the groove along top front)

Undo two 7mms each side inside.

Front lifts off, inner drum lifts out, bingo

Switch/motor for sure, but just aswell change whole assy for differance in price 😯

    Steve
