Could you tell me if the model 8586 161 15000 serial number 110422022569 needs both boards replaced the compressor relay is chattering. I have changed the capacitor and checked the compressor windings, start relay and bypassed the controls and it runs ok .

Only the back board should be required on this model.

Could you tell me I am getting the chattering sounds, flashing lights and after a few hours the freezer goes to zero and the sound goes off. The fridge just is not getting cold enough at all and all the food is going off. If I turn it off for a few hours and back on the freezer sider starts to works again but not the fridge. Any ideas?

Not sure if both boards need changing and if it’s worth trying the PCB repair kit? As anyone used the PCB kit? Would it solve my problems?
