Hi all, I’ve got the above appliance coming up 15 years old, fan is very noisy, but appears to run ok, I’ve sourced a replacement (approx £100) but the front of the fridge freezer between the doors is very hot so i’m wondering if there is another fault which has caused the fan to run more frequently, don’t want to spend £100 on an old appliance if I end up getting a new one anyway

    Appreciate any help

    Cheers

That sounds like the anti-condensate line, in warmer weather, there’s heat in there that stops ice from forming and condensation around the doors.

Though I don’t think I’d spend that kind of money on a machine that age.

Yes I was starting to think that, the fan is pretty much running constantly, doesn’t seem to be kicking out much cold air..
