Whirlpool American Fridge/Freezer

I bought a 2nd hand fridge/freezer which was working fine on demonstration to me and now I’ve got it home and plugged it in there is a very annoying clicking noise which coincides with flashing of the green lighting on the control console by the water/ice dispenser. The fridge/freezer. If I turn the light on, the clicking/flashing gets faster.

What’s wrong with it?
