Hi, I’ve just found you and I’m hoping you may be able to help. I have a Whirlpool American style fridge freezer model number – 3xart730gw00.
    type – art730
    refrigeration type – r134a

The problem is that if we put anything in the bottom part of the fridge it freezes it, this happens if we use the drawer or not.
And now it’s making the most awful noise that seems to be getting worse. its like a flickering/wherring noise.

    Any body have any idea’s??
If so I would greatly appreciate your help.

    many thanks

    Natalie

At a guess, the noise is from the freezer side of the machine.
If it is, the fan in there is the cause of the problem.
Will also cause uneven temperatures in the fridge. (ie. freezing in the bottom)
