Morning,
I’m hoping someone can help me here as I can’t get an engineer out for about 4/5 days and I have a 16 month old who needs chilled milk/food etc!
The fridge/freezer stopped working on Friday. We came into the kitchen on Friday morning and water from the freezer was everywhere (it is the freezer with ice/water dispenser which had defrosted). We called around several engineers but no-one could come out and one recommended switching the whole thing off for 24 hours with the doors open then switch it back on for a minimum of 5 hours to see if this fixed it. It hasn’t.
The odd thing is there is cold air coming through the fan section at the very bottom of the freezer but isn’t filling the freezer or affecting the fridge, both still room temperature.
Is there anything I can try for ‘home fix’? I’d be very grateful for any help!
