Whirlpool American Fridge Freezers,- Any Good?

We’re looking at a new Whirlpool SS US Style fridge/freezer for our new extension kitchen (when i say we, i mean my parents and a bit me). What are they like in terms of quality, service, reliabiltity and serviceability?

Buy a Maytag, much better. 😉

Don rates the Admirals as well which you can think of as a baby Maytag in many ways.

Extra for Maytag 😉 but if you have to, LG is a bit better and more reliable than the Samsung 😀

We wanted an American FF for its large capacity and the great feature of having a chilled water and ice dispenser on tap, but in reliabilty terms in general, would we be better off buying an US FF or a built in F/F. Providing we have around a grand to spend, could we get a reliable US FF like a Maytag?

Yes Adam, you’ll get a Maytag for that sort of money, but (IIRC) it’s a bit more for the stainless finishes as they are real stainless on the Maytags. 😉

It will be freestanding in quite a large place so I guess the bigger the better really. Yep I think water and and Ice would be required.
