    Currently looking at a whirlpool american fridgefreezer. complaint is that the fridge is getting too cold. Would i be correct in saying that the air diffuser has failed and is letting the air from the freezer constantly in?

    either failed or frozen up.

    Normally the vent slide has broken. Temp fix cover the vents with silver tape and put a couple of slices through the tape to allow air flow slowly through the tape.. Keeps the customer happy till the part arrives
