hi went to this because of the flashing display ,changed front board and cured the fault .Customer now saying that it is not making ice and i suspect it wasnt before i changed front board :rolls: ,the rear board has been replaced with a new one within the last year and i have noticed the light inside the freezer door is flashing rapidly ,apart from the valve is there anything else i should be looking thanks in advance Cras
there is a small switch below the front board , accesible from the front if you bend and look where the water / ice outlets are ; this switches ice off so poss inadvertently switched this when replacing board ( or pulled wire off behind facia ) ?
thanks for the reply ,the switch is on and i have been back to check the connections which are fine im tryin a rear board that my collegue has lent me off his own at home ,failing that are there any other known problems with the ice maker itself thanks Cras
To avoid confusion the switch under the front display turns on a heater inside the dispenser area to stop condensation forming and does not control ice production.
