ParticipantHi all,
Any ideas. This one dispenses water but there is no water to ice maker. Customer has fitted a new filter. It sounds like the relay clicks.
❓

fridges not my line but if there is no water going into any appliance look for
1 blown water valve
2 water level detect could be a float or pressure switch etc to stop icemaker section overfilling
3 most icemakers have a sensor in the ice bucket to detect when full this will stop it working
this is where i would gohope it helps

could be
1 ice maker sensors (infra red sensors either side of ice maker)
2 ice maker itselfbit of a mine field unless you have these parts to try..
2 seperate water feeds 1 for disp and 2 for ice makerally

Hiya,
Unplug the appliance, plug it back in and then open the freezer door and look at the right hand optic. Count the flashes.
From the time you switch on you have 1 minute in which to check the results of the power up diagnostics.Check your pm.

Check that the water inlet pipe in the top of the freezer hasn’t frozen up. If it has…hairdryer. If you have no optic lights on the infra-reds in freezer…new control board will sort it.

It is normally the ice maker itself have done more than I care to remember and has been ice maker every time but once when it was the valve. The sensor go’s faulty and thinks it is full off ice so will not refill.

I’ve just posted a query about a clicking water inlet valve relay on this thread. It may answer yours as well.
