Whirlpool American style fridge freezer tripping RCD

Just moved whirlpool fridge freezer into a new position and when I switch it on the front display flashes and an audible beep alarm goes off then after a while the electrical rcd trips , I have read a few posts about faulty defrost heater element, before I purchase one could it be anything else.

If the compressor is running and making the normal noises before it trips then most likely a heater.

If the appliance trips before the compressor cuts in then it could be the compressor or the heater.
