Whirlpool top loader. No numbers as the rating plate has disappeared…….. :rolls:

I need the part number and average cost of the gearbox unit please. I’ve fitted a new drive coupling, but the drum will still not turn and there is a loud rasping noise from the gearbox casting area.

    Any help please??

    Thanks,

    Steve.

not sure how many there are but 481952228008 is a common one, one of the Whirlpool guys here would need to confirm if there is only one type or not. Its only £75 as well

That will be the correct one, IIRC there was another but we have not used it for years.
