HI can anyone tell me how to fit a clutch coupling on one of these machines it fits between the motor and gearbox,I’ve had a few over the last six months but didn’t want to get involved but now find myself wanting to learn more about them so i’ve taken a job to go and have a look any info would be much appreciated,
    thanks mark 😆

    hi,

The whole of the cabinet drops forward, remove the fascia in one lump undoing screws at the back, two clips are revealed which hold the cabinet in place, hinge the cabinet forward to reveal all the mechanicals.

Couplings and pumps are the common failures, watch out for a 6amp fuse hidden in the wiring loom at the side of the timer.

Mark, hope you charged a decent rate for doing this job. Customers here should not expect a repair on this type of specialist appliance at the same cost of a run of the mill Hotpoint carbons for example. Yes it is an easy job but you can impress a customer by ripping that cabinet off in like 30 seconds!
    Mark.

these machines are becoming more popular over here now ,Most parts are available from the regular suppliers .,And Mark’s right don’t undervalue yourself most people re gard these as heavy duty machines and should therefore expect to pay accordingly .
I just wish they made a coin op version as I deal with a lot of coin op situations that don’t want to py mega bucks for the machines in the first place They are not all that much to buy actually http://www.millerbros.co.uk have them at £459.00
