ParticipantJust bought the above fridge from Currys and they say its door is reversible, but can the door be turned round,I have had a look, but the problem seems to be with the opening handle, there doesn’t seem any way that can be moved to the other side ,or am I missing something

not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain but looking at the handle I would say it is not reversable. If it is reversible it will tell you how in the instruction book.

Hi
Thanks for that, in the instruction book there is a note saying -The direction of the door can be changed. If this operation is performed by After sales service it is not covered by the warranty. I still cannot see how it can be changed from the handle point of view.Think I will give Whirlpool a ring tomorrow. On the Currys site it does say reversible doors and thats one of the reasons I bought this particular modelJuly 3, 2006 at 5:29 am #180696DentedPorsche

The door handle is screwed on. In amongst the paperwork you received with the fridge there should be a bag with 2 small plastic plugs. These plugs fill the holes left when you remove the handle. The handle is then screwed on to the opposite side of the door.

Hi
Thanks ,just rang Whirlpool, there not sure so going to get back to me. If the door handle can be unscrewed and put on the other side does that mean I have to make 2 new holes in the door as there is no place that it can be mounted at the momentJuly 3, 2006 at 6:59 pm #180698DentedPorsche

Yep, you have to make two pilot holes for the screws.
