Whirlpool ART 251 Fridge Freezer thermostat replacement

Hi Newbie here 🙂

I have a challenge that is currently beating me.
I need to replace the thermostat of our integrated whirlpool ART 251 fridge freezer. I have the correct replacement thermostat, but I cant seem to find the non damaging and easy way to access the old thermo.. all the vids I have seen relate to having to unscrew screws to gain access. on my model , there are no screws to play with and I am at a loss on how to access the area without damage .

Does anyone know how to access the compartment to allow me to change the thermo ? or knows where some instructions are to follow ?

You have to pull the light switch button forward towards you squeezing it at the same time to pull of the button, make sure you do not lose the spring.

Underneath where the button was is the screw holding the thermostat housing on.

When you have taken the screw out you pull the housing away and forward to remove it.

This model is not an easy one to replace the stat.
