Yes I Know this is another request sorry! since last week my fridge freezer has decided not to dispense any more water into my glass… the ice maker works fine but the water dispenser has stopped working, the switch just clicks when you knock the paddle with your glass and thats it.. I’m aware that there is a dual solanoid unit that controls the water flow for the ice regenerator and one for the drinking water…..could this be the problem and if so would i have to replace both solanoids… thanks in advance

Hiya, Your unit has a dual water valve assembly, it comes as a complete unit. However, you need to ascertain that the valve is at fault. It could be that the main module is faulty or it could be as simple as the feed pipe in the freezer door has frozen. If you remove the plinth at the bottom of the doors you’ll be able to disconnect the pipe going up through the freezer door. Activate the water dispenser and if you get water at the bottom, it’s a frozen pipe.

Thanks “DentedPorsche” for the info but I forgot to say that the ice is being manufactured……. no probs there! bot neither the water or ice are dispensed when the paddles are pressed. there seems to be no life no noise just the click of the switches inside has the machine got a pcb? or maybe an internal fuse/thermo cut out that just contolls that part of the machine…I don’t know….I haven’t looked… Thanks in advance
