    Hi there,

I’ve had a Whirlppol ARZ740 / B for the 6 years and have had no problems with it until recently, when for some reason it keeps tripping the fuse board for that circuit.

We tend to hear something resembling a loud ‘pop’ from the machine and then when checked, the machine is off and the fuse board tripped.

It’s not plumbed into the water (hasn’t been since we moved 4 years ago lol), and hasn’t been moved either. The grid at the front of the machine is clean and not blocked.

Just wondering if anyone has come across this before and if they have what the solution is.

    Thanks in advance

    Iain

    Hi Chaos,

It could be anything really and probably why you’ve not had any replies as yet.

The board or stat could be causing it as it switches or, more likely the compressor or relay which would be my first port of call.

    K.
