HI,
GOT A CALL TO ONE OF THESE FRIGDE FREEZERS.I WAS RUNNING LATE A DIDN’T ARRIVE TILL AFTER 7 CUSTOMER WAS GOING OUT (TO THE PUB I BET) SO ONLY HAD A QUICK LOOK.
DOES THIS MACHINE HAVE A SERVICE MODE?
THE COMPRESSOR IS NOT RUNNING AND WARNING LIGHT FLASHING.
I TRIED TO REMOVE TOP PANEL TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE MODULE BUT LOOKS LIKE I HAVE TO REMOVE THE FRIDGE DOOR
CAN ANYONE HELP ?
ALSO DO WHIRLPOOL DO A SERVICE DVD LIKE TDS AND HAVE YOU GOOD FOLK GOT A PART No?

I can’t help with the fault on this one Mark i’m afraid.

Whirlpool do have a disk called SIOS with all the part numbers and diagrams plus a bit of technical info, not a patch on TDS though.

You should be able to get one via your normal wholesaler, if not give me a shout I can order one from Whirlpool for you.

Now I’ve mentioned shouting, see that key on the left with “caps lock” on it, hit it and it’ll switch them off 😉 😆

I think SIOS is subscription only directly from Whirlpool, whatever I have to fill out a form every year and pay up front.

So I need to approach Whirlpool then?How much does this cost?as I will have to way up the pros and cons. I only wanted it because I have just had the TDS one and that has paid for its self the first week I used it so was going to try SIOS also are there any more manufa selling these dvd’s

They’re about £25 normally to account holders, if you phone 0208 6495450 they should be able to tell you more, they still didn’t phone me back 🙁
