whirlpool askoll dw motor moulded hose

is it possible to replace this hose thats factory fitted to this dishwasher motor, as europart have a hose (42-ps-07) as would provide a much cheaper fix than replacing the complete motor?
any suggestions?

There is a sticky thread at the top of this forum on this very subject but the general consensus is that it is such a bad motor that a temporary fix of the hose may not be the best, long term repair.
