ParticipantWhirlpool AWG 613/WP toploader 8537 613 15010.
Bearings are really badly gone in this machine. Water leaking from non-driven side bearing that looks as if it’s popped out of the drum side panel. 😕 Driven side is very loose.
Is the bearing replacement job staightforward to do? And does it matter if the non-driven bearing has pushed out of the drum?
Customer has a postage stamp sized kitchen and loves this machine so I’m slightly under pressure to work miracles.
If it’s BER, who manufactures slimline toploaders today? What would the retail price be?Thanks Guys!! 🙂
Steve.

If the tub side bearing has pushed out, it has probably worn the tub. Should be a push fit from the inside, locked by a big clip on the outside.
Tub bearing (hub) – 4819 520 28026 – pattern one from M/part £13
Bearing kit (driven side) – 4819 520 28029 – £19 M/part
Tub – 4819 418 18342 – £45 M/partDead easy to do – if you need to change the tub allow 2 hours. Simple but a lot to do.
Cheers,

Thanks guys for the info. I may just take the plunge!!!!
Why not the Indesit you ask? I quite like my customer and I still insist that Indesit is spelt incorrectly -there’s an ‘H’ missing!!! :rotl:July 28, 2006 at 8:00 am #183294Simon46

Yes fitted a Hotpoint one that customer had bought new. When undoing Transit bolt heard a crack. Bolt and section of rear tub came out through hole 😯 . right next to suspension spring.
