Whirlpool awm 049 – part shorting out

Have a short on my machine, traced it back to a part, not sure what it is, it has a small tube coming out of it going to the drum. Any ideas? Would this commonly cause a short.
There is another tube coming from the dispenser going to the floor of the machine, doesnt seem to be connected, is this correct

Pressure switch is very unlikely to be the culprit – it’s switching on the live circuit only – there is no neutral or earth for it to short to. It feeds to the heater – that’s where I’d be testing.
