Whirlpool AWM 1250 – stopping mid program

Since moving the washing machine the other week, it stops half way through program K. When the dial is moved, it moves to program 1 but sticks here again. When it is moved on a notch here, it completely bypasses program 1 and moves to program 2 and finishes the wash from here. Any ideas?

Also, the conditioner remains in the drawer. The other day it didn’t use any of the powder but that seems to be ok now. I’ll take the drawer out and have a look inside – I read somewhere about brushing against the top where the water comes from.

Finally, the washing is coming out warm now when before it was cold. Nothing has changed, such as the pipes being switched. Any ideas?

No cold water supply – check that the little blue tab has actually turned the water on and not just revolved on the tap.
