Every time the pump-out is completed, the machine shuts down. However, as soon as the supply is switched off and on, the machine proceeds to the next part of the programme. It is not a worn ratchet, as the dial will progress to the end. It would not appear to be the pressure-switch, as why would a break in supply restore operation?
Puzzled? Many thanks,
Sprockets.
Re: Whirlpool AWM 1403-Washing Machine goes into hibernation
Thanks, 1totalshambles,
However,if the brushes were worn, why does it only stop after pump-out? Since then, it has managed to complete a cycle with no problems, but now it refuses to carry on indexing after a pump-out, despite switching on and off! My guess is that it is a relay problem, probably in the portion of the controller that is electronic? Do you agree?
