    My whirlpool washing machine AWM 337 is stopping during the wash cycle. Need to press start button to get it to start again. Then it just sticks in the wash programme and does not move on. Does not seem to heat the water. Do I need a new heater element. This machine is 10 years old.
    Please help. Is it worth spending the money on a new heating element.
