Participantthe above m/c will not start on a prog, when drain selected, it does a pulse drain then stops, (it does this at start of all other selected prog’s).
it then starts to advance a few pulse’s, pause’s, then starts to advance again till it eventually drains then stops, when this is done, it keeps advancing??. set onto a spin prog, again it pulse drains momentarily, then starts to fill?, washes then starts the advancing sequence again, till it eventually stops ,and drains,Phew!!.
anybody out there can help please,
thanks TELL..April 16, 2006 at 7:01 am #173183Martin

These programme timers often have a ‘skipping fit’ when the whole circuit is interrupted. (i.e. blocked air chamber, chafed wiring harness, low insulation on heater etc)

i have checked heater, and motor resistance etc, they seem to be normal readings i would expect. the carbon brushes were ok. and the level of water ok. the motor does tumble, but the programmer does not give it a chance to do anything else.

thanks TELL..I’ve just added your post to the original thread Tell, keeps it ‘neat & tidy to stick to one thread please 🙂
Incidentally, have you checked the heater on it?
