Did a search but couldn’t find anything specific.

Customer complained that timer knob had been sticking, she manually advanced it once or twice and it seemed to complete.

Now the door will lock, the timer whirrs for a few seconds, the drain pump kicks in for a short while then cuts out.

No fill, no motor action, nothing.

First thought was motor brushes but they are like new, motor, heater, valves all check out electrically in every way.

    Stumped now. 😳

    Any suggestions?

    Jim.

You have checked all the obvious faults there Jim so it can only be the timer. Before you buy one check the harness to the motor, they were known to have dodgy connections next to the plugs.

Thanks John, I did look at the motor plug connections and they did seem OK.
