    Hello.

Recently we’ve noticed that our Whirlpool AWM323 is leaking water. Before we thought we might have been a bit messy with the washing up but after today it’s clear that the machine is leaking.

I’ve emptied the front hole thing on the bottom right, not sure of the name. It was full of what looked like dirty water. Is this model of washing machine suppose to have a hole that goes down into the machine rather than a spout or similar to allow the water to flow out? Because ours doesn’t.

We don’t overload our machine and the seal seems fine on the door, although there is a line of water coming from the door.

I’ve tried looking in our rented house for the manual, but no joy. Our estate agents are more likely to have a first edition Harry Potter book than the manual (they are heavily on the lame side) and I’ve not come up with anything on Google.

Just looking for ideas and experience with this. As you can probably tell I’m not overly knowledgeable with washing machines/

    Thanks.

Standard leak on these was from the corner of the soap drawer – tracks down the front and round the door recess, giving the impression of a door sealing leak.

Remove and thoroughly clean soap drawer and box, es[ecially the roof section. Remove the green plastic insert in the front of the drawer as well.

    Try that and report back.
