Had a quick peek at this today. Bearings only beginning to go so could catch them early. But the split tub is held together by numerous (~30?) metal clips which, if my suspicions are correct, won’t come off easily. Has anyone done one of these? I know the genuine parts would be expensive but I could easily use another mnufacturer’s bearings and maybe even find a cheaper seal.
This model doesn’t apparently have the pull-out hub.

    Hi Mike,

Just stick a large flat bladed screwdriver behind each clip and force them off, when rebuilding, line each clip up and tap with a hammer and they will go back on quite easily.

Hi John, Thanks for the info. Original seal seems to be 35x65x9 according to Connect. I’ve ordered a 35x65x10 which is nearest I could find for much less money and probably just as good.
If you think of anything which is likely to trip me up first time I do this one, please let me know as I really need to do it in one hit.

Easy job Mike, should take about 45 mins.

Friday afternoon awaits. I’ve allowed a bit more than 45 minutes 😉 .

Job was a cinch, just like John said  . Wish I could find a few more like that. One thing to note, pulley nut is 18mm – not something you come across every day.
