ParticipantHi Guys,
went to this appliance this morning, fault as follows – machine fills, with motor action in both directions, once water intake stops machine is quiet for a few seconds and then the following lights start flashing – wash light, start button light and 800 and zero spin lights. Anyone got an answer? I have checked the error codes but couldn’t find anything related.
Ihave checked the motor brushes, heater and inlet valves. Thermistor on heater reads 1997-1999ohms.Alan

Hi Robwash,
thanks for the reply. It is zero and third light up. I thought it might have been an ntc fault, but wasn’t sure what reading ntc on heater should be. Heater tested out ok.

by the way where did you get the fault codes from, for that model? I couldn’t find them listed on the known error codes. Are they on the Sios disc and if so where?

I do sub-contract work for them so I’ve got all the data. send me your fax no and i’ll send you the page with all the lights and faults. It should be on sios but this is easier.

Re: Latest SIOS
How much useful technical data has SIOS got on it ?
I have a older version of SIOS and although there are wiring and cam charts which are useful there is not much in the way of fault code or K type sheet information.
Does the current version of SIOS address this ?
How much is SIOS ?

I haven’t heard that one for years, brings back memories of thousands of microfeche 😆
It is only the very old models on SIOS that dont have tech info and diagnostics. Just about all of the models on SIOS now have wiring diagrams, resistance readings, fault codes and diagnostic programs. The main problem I find with SIOS is that it does not include service bulletins / K sheets
IIRC it costs around £35 per year.
