Whirlpool AWM6145/3 Door open light flashing

At start of any cycle , pump runs for a few seconds and “door open” light starts flashing , no water intake or drum action . Door is locked on , so presumably door interlock ok.
Checked brushes,which are free in holder with plenty of carbon !
I`ve had this in the past and having checked every component on the machine , I thought it must be (very expensive) module fault.

Any help much appreciated.

If you have checked Brushes ok, door locked, check motor harness, pull on wires at motor plug etc. then i would suspect pcb, had it a couple of times unfortunatly
