ParticipantMy god! a machine as tall as me sat in this womens tiny kitchen. Never seen the likes before 😯
Set it on any programme it fills for 30 seconds then flashes F11 ❓ According to the error code it (possibly) means a “Communication Error” which I take it to mean Module 1 its talking to Module 2 :con:
Looking at the price of modules and stuff I’d better not go there lest its a dead cert 🙄
Anybody got a clue here? or should I tell her to get a forklift truck in to dump it in the bin, ‘cos I sure as hell can’t move it far!!!!! (After all its 2 years old now)

Had the same problem before on a couple of different Dreamspaces(awm8000) It could be either module, both modules or the cable between the two.

Thanks John and Kevin,
So I guess I figured it correctly then, I will need to fit both Modules to get this monster running again eh 😯 That’ll be £200 in bits plus labour, I think I instead will suggest she contact the local Whirlpool agent and go the route of “not of merchantable quality” in the hope they will play fair and perhaps do it ‘labour only’.
I can’t even move the s***ing on my own anyway, its huge, in a tiny kitchen and stood on cushionfloor 😡 😡
Thanks anyway guys, no more AWM8000’s for me

Martin I have bits and service info on these and Whirlpool out of warrenty labour is at least £135.00 plus vat.
Simple to work on and the thing strips from the front…perhaps we should do a different meeting where we teach a machine or perhaps refrigeration.
Anyone fancy a refrigeration “teach in” weekend…perhaps there are budding trainers out there (r600a) who might help?????
What you think “scots one”?
