fault code fp so pump is checked and elastic band is found.i then put machine on test pumps out fine aborts spin and throws up fp again.so i would like to ask does the board need resetting after a fault? or is the board shot any suggestions gratefully recieved

Well fp is a pump time-out error so I can only suggest firstly changing the pump in case the coil is damaged? And then checking the air chamber, drain hose and stuff in that area? Module would be the last thing to suspect to be honest 😉

Pressure switch? or shorted pump triac(on PCB)
