Done one or two many years ago on old Hoover boards, Logic etc.
Not sure whether “triac fault” means exactly what it says with these new electronics. Could be just a wire loose in the motor plug or something.
Anyway, motor triac should be easy to spot – it’ll be the big one which is clipped, bolted or riveted to the large heatsink. But if it’s gone / shorted / open / exploded / pfft! or however, then it’s normally something in the motor itself or wiring to, that has caused it. And of course, neighbouring components will need checking.

Sorry, must have misunderstood your question. Why didn’t you just get on with the job then?

KeymasterJust few of those F07 does meen really triac scc… more likely are something related to earth leakage or dirty motor connectors or other electronic components from PCB are dead…
I advice anyoneto think from electronic point of viewnot from user…
For ex.: F07 means triac scc.== uC is reading voltage on widing whithout giving commands for opening triac gate… that is happen in tree cases:
1) triac is really SCC
2) leakage to earth of one motor components
3) voltage feedback reading from motor is faulty (ex. 470Kohms resistors)…Changing an electronic component (even triac) is easy using soldering iron… you have to know which one 😉

Had checked for earth faults, brushes motor connections etc,no faults found so points to module.
Thks anyway

I’ve almost always ever found with F07 it’s either the brushes worn or the connection from the motor to the module broken (wiring harness probs).
