I have 2 Whirlpool AWM9000 American Style front-loader washers at a small 0ld folks home and one has stopped working with a F/H code appearing intermittently – the machine appears to be fully filling and drains properly but the pump runs for ages as if it still thinks there is still water in the machine and it does not attempt even the wash cycle so I am guessing it is most likely the pressure switch or its pipework rather than the flow meter, which I believe can also throw the F/H code. Has anyone any better ideas/seen this fault? – I guess at least I can swap parts over between my two machines before I buy any parts but as both have stacked driers on top to remove it would be nice to have the advice of someone who may have fixed this fault before.

    Best Regards

Well to answer my own query it was the flow meter – easy fix but expensive for what it is!
