    hi there. I have a problem with a whirlpool washer model awo 3761/5. the start light keeps flashing when pressed and machine will not go. I have checked motor and wiring to it for continuity.

    Does the door lock? If not, the door interlock/switch is the first item to check / replace.

    Checked door lock,getting a reading on two terminals [heater in lock?]

    A reading? Is that resistance or voltage? Is the door locking?

    Resitance and no its not locking.
