Anyone know how to reset a fault on this,

Friend of mine just rang me and he has a six month old one which threw up a clear pump light, which he did and then it threw up a service light.
He turned it off and on and now it locks and he can turn it on but it does nothing.

I’ve not seen it so it is second hand info, but if anyone knows a reset or has a manual then it’d be much appreciated.
