Remove plug. Remove front panel – screws at bottom, slip off door seal and unscrew door lock. Heater on the drum front – slacken nut and lever out. Much fun to be had trying to get it to go back in……..

    What is the actual problem?

nina, the bra wire must have gone through a hole…where are the holes in the drum…at the back perhaps..if so look there, you may be very lucky and see the tip of the wire and if you are very very lucky you might be able to pull it out. however if its wrapped itself around the drum shaft it will be very difficult to get it free. best of luck :rolls:

Never known a bra wire to get wrapped around the drum shaft but there’s always a first time i suppose 😆

Nina, have a good look through the holes in the drum with a torch, you will probably spot the offender usually in the heater area at the bottom. Coax it with a couple of thin screwdrivers to where the sump hose is then disconnect the hose and withdraw 😉

    Power off of course :zap:

clive.. yes..bra wire round the shaft.. i’ve done one..just the one! frustratingly awkward as i could see it but because it was firmly twisted around the shaft it was a stripdown job.
