    My Whirlpool AWOD 5726 washing machine shows error code F6. Also the red service light is lit when the error code is displayed. The machine will not wash each time the error comes up. It comes up every 2/3 mins into the wash. What can I do? Please help.

    The machine is around 3 and a half years old.

    I think F6 is “no motor movement detected” worth checking the carbon brushes.
