AWOD 6507/1S is very noisy during washing and spinning. i suspected the drum bearings but after removing the belt and running a cycle discovered the noise is from the motor. would this be the bearings or the speed tacho attached to the back and can it be replaced or do i need to buy a new motor.?
P.S. motor brushes are perfect and comm looks fine.

It will only be available as a full motor spare part wise and, knowing Whirlpool, you’ll need oxygen handy for when you get a price on it.

I’d need the PNC number from the rating plate to locate the part for you or a price but I’d expect the thick end or £130-200 for a Whirlpool motor.

How do you manage to find the part number from the PNC number?
What info would i need to do the same?

thanks kwatt, ive replaced bearings before in older Hotpoints and was wondering if the same might do here? thats if it is the bearings.!! not worth repairing if it costs £130-£200.?
