    Whirlpool AWOE8558 washer. 8592 977 1500L.

    18 month old machine. The display shows just a few lines whatever program is selected. Tried all connections to the main PCB and the display plug, all seem OK. The door intermittently stays locked after a cycle as well. 😕

    I can’t find any parts on Connect or Qualtex (I suppose it’s too new). The interlock may have a fault and probably not expensive; but the display is separate to the main PCB…. not quite sure which is at fault. Anyone had a similar problem? Any help would be appreciated.

    barring corruption, my experience of pcb washers is that it wil replicate the fault all the time (on same program). intermittent failures, on same prog will be down to variables. not sure i/lock is the reason unless pecker is worn, which is unlikely on 18mth old machine
