There are no electronic boards on this machine – could you expand a little on your problem? What is it that has been displaced and where?

The part that has fallen off looks as though it is a condesor about 7 by 4 by1 cm. It has 3 small flat connecters and plastic shielding.Without it the drum only revolves one way. Hope this helps.

I guess you must refer to the Capacitor? Does it have various numbers written on the casing of it? If so can you make out the letters 10uf…?

The writing on the bottom of the casing is as follows:-
    BV16.350/122
    240nX1 +2x15nY2+ 1MO
    25/100/21-C
    EN 132 400
    IEC 331-11-2
Then a capacitor symbol with a 240V ac centre tapping.
At least that is what I think it is supposed to be.Where does it plug in?

Aaah! That’s the Mains Filter (TV suppressor) that fits on the mains terminal block I recon? The capacitor I refer to is a cylindrical unit that bolts onto the motor with 3 or 4 wires that should be attached to it. And that would never fall off anyway 😉

Replacement part (481212118121) available via emailing these details to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk
