    hi
i have an awz 121 that trys to start when you press the start button but stops almost imediately (the drum spins about 1/2 a turn). The heater comes on regardless of the drum not turning. I have removed the motor and it spins freely as do all the various rollers and bearings (all of these appear to be aligned correctly). The belt is intact and correctly tensioned.
The start switch feels mechanically sound and stays in when pushed. Could it be the motor or the capacitor next to it? Are parts available? (i have changed the heater before). Is it worth bothering with or have i got start saving for a new one? This is where i run out of ideas/knowledge/experience/sense. Any advice would be gratefully recieved.
Many thanks for your time reading this.

The capacitor is the most common part to fail, though if it does, the drum doesn’t turn at all! 😕

    Have you tryed repairs@?

    Hi there,
Could you check the inside of the drum and see if it has cracks in it and getting jammed on the rolls. Another common problem.
