Hi chaps this is my first post and looking for some advice. Our tumble dryer not working as efficiently as it used to. The lint filter is not collecting as much fluff as it once did (never been washed but any accumulated fluff is removed following each cycle). There is some condensation forming around the seal inside the door when it is opened. I have cleaned as much fluff as I can from within the filter enclosure. We have not got a vent pipe fitted so the hole at the back is just open to the atmosphere. Any help gratefully received. Thanks.
Filling up with fluff somewhere….. Check the vent outlet at the back, surprising amount of fluff will collect. The channel beneath the filter does the same, and so can the fan. Major demolition work required for access though.
Condensation on the door seal – has the door warped? They do buckle with heat eventually.
