Whirlpool AWZ650 Tumbler Blowing Cold

I have replaced a burnt out thermostat pair, but still have no heat.

Heater element measures 30 ohms – OK.

When powered up one side of the element is grounded but I don’t measure any power switching through to the heater element. Same if terminal is disconnected.

Is there some other cut-out that disables power from going to the heater, or do you think that the ‘clock’ is faulty ?

Have you check the drum outlet thermostat, behind front lower plinth on the right hand side?.
Power off of course :plug:

Wow, my first reaction was disbelief that there is such a thing, but I see this is an available spare.

How does one get into it … I can’t immediately see how ?

If you take your time and look carefully it will become apparent. Remove condenser unit first though.

Not too common a part, I’ve ordered it from here though, brilliant.
