I checked the heater unit inc stats – all ok
I checked the NTC probe that was on the front, don’t know the correct readings but it does work as the value went down when you warm it with your hand which suggests it is working.

I can’t find any more stats and wondering if the program board is goosed?

The front drum felt need replacing and there are few scraped plastics and this is consistence with worn front felt. I’d rather establish the fault first before attempting to replace the felt so I can give my customer the choice.

F14 fault, it looks like a heater short circuit or heater relay contacts welded. If it was short circuit you might be able to clear the fault by resetting,

turn selector to 6 o’clock position
    push start button 3 times
    turn selector clockwise 1 position
    push start button 3 times

You have to do this within 10 seconds.

    Thanks John,

I found that out myself as I think it was overheated due to restricted airflow at the rear as there were burnt markings. Stripped it down and hoovered up the fluff, replaced the felt seal.

Now appears to be in working order.

I quite enjoyed this tumble dryer compared with Hotpoint. A pleasure to work on.
