Whirlpool AWZ8579 , dead dryer, power going to it

This tumble dryer 857585715090 has power to front p.c.b, but it’s lifeless, no l.e.ds lighting up etc.
Any ideas what would cause p.c.b to be blown if that’s what it needs, there’s another board to the side also
Not done any of these before so just looked at prices of board & it’s showing as nearly £100

Any ideas lads as to what causes PCB to go as don’t want to put elderly lady to cost of new one installed if I can’t stand over it, and same doesn’t happen in short time again.
