Hello, I would be very grateful for any help/ advice.
My Whirlpool 6th Sense AZB 8680 has stopped working. It’s just over 4 years old.
When i press the start button, it appears to begin working – the usual pause where it’s sensors measure how long it should dry current load for – but then it just stops. The drum spins around VERY slowly, then just stops. But there are no error messages or lights.
This happened once before, and I did get flashing red lights. I reset the machine according to instructions I found online (turning dial to 6, pressing start three times etc etc) and it started working again, however this time there are no error lights and this doesn’t seem to do anything.
I hope I’ve described the problem well enough!
I’m pretty handy with DIY (just fixed my fridge) but no expert – so happy to try anything myself that might help. But slightly reluctant to call out engineer if it ends up costing more than it would to just get a new machine.
