When slecting oven and turn dial to apply heat, the red light and heat does not start until the dial is around the 125 mark. I have recently replaced the thermostat on this and all worked well for 6 months, I have checked the thermostat and it is in the correct place etc.

I had a friend to look it over and he thinks it may be the variable thermostat

I would like to know if this diagnosis is viable and also where I can purchase the part from

Any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Unless the knob is damaged it’s definitely the thermostat.

Can you check for the product code starting 85….. please as there are several versions of this oven.

I’ll be able to identify the correct thermostat for you then 🙂
